A New Dawn

Honestly this game was a beautiful experience and I was really disappointed that it came to an end 😭

I've always adored Dawn, now I do so even more.  I didn't encounter any nsfw content throughout the narrative, I may have forgot to turn it on, but I was absolutely hooked on the story regardless and really, REALLY hope we'll get some more content one day  😍

Yo dude, i appreciate your hardwork creating this masterpiece, i love it so much that i can play this game over and over again without getting tired of it! I ain't even watching pokemon but dang this made started the series just to see dawn. Dude I don't even get it why some people don't like this game (they're probably expected that this game is more onto sexual stuff.) like im telling you man this game is fucking awesome!

Keep up the work man, hopefully the 1.1 update will come out this year, don't stress yourself up dawg.

After finally overcoming laziness and that weird thing that whenever i want to do something I postpone it forever and ever I finally played this game (used the walkthrough cause I am a wuss lol), And it was just as great as the other one, great story and great dialogue, and sex, that's fun too, all in all, great work my man, also cong rats on making it to f95

This was great! It's telling that I didn't get any spicy scenes the first time around and I still didn't feel terribly disappointed because it was so sweet as a romance in general. I was also very fond of all the art that seemed drawn and wish there was more of that rather than stuff pulled off r34, but I understand that with something this big made by one person with little to no budget there'll probably be some compromises.

 I went back and replayed through using the walkthrough, but it seems I'm still missing an image from the gallery. It's the 6th image, right below Dawn playing ping pong, how do I get it?

It has been quite a while since I played A New Dawn for the first time, but even after all this time I like to come back to the game every now and then.

Admittedly, I played it the first time because it was a Pokémon-based erotic VN, but your writing actually kept me playing despite me messing up the "best ending" in my first blind run. It may not be the most complex or original story in the world, but it just works. The fact that there is no real bad ending makes it much more fun for me to play with different paths too, and Dawn is just so loveable and cute here.

Wish I had more time and was more consistent with writing music, otherwise I'd love to support your project(s)!

This game was amazing honestly I will be playing it again because dawn was just one of my favorite characters from the show and I just wanted to see what it would be like to battle and talk to her it honestly made me a little happy but the ending threw me off a little I would pay a lot of money for a part 2 or something so please is you're reading this the person who made this if you're reading this please at least put it consideration for a part 2 I bet it would make a lot of people including me happy

I was promised wholesome and cute and thats exactly what i got, you did a amazing job, I even played the short 5 minutes part (i hope it is a teaser for a bigger project :3).

I really like the tone of the story, you manage to immerse the reader by making the main protagonist relatable and kind of shy and quirky, his chemistry with Dawn is adorable and it makes playing the game a really lighthearted and fun experience.

I also like that you didnt put bad endings or mean decisions in the game, i'm not against suffering the consequences for your actions in a visual novel but it is kinda sad when i have to choose the bad decisions to finish a game100% XD.

This game is amazing, it is to me, the best love story i have ever played/read.

I can also kind of relate to the mc on some parts.

also this might be weird but most visual novels i don't read through, I just like looking at the art and the characters, but this is the first vn I read through and went back for more alternative parts of the story.

Finished my first run, and I'm shocked to find something this fluffy and wholesome from 4chan of all places. While I never watched the Sinnoh anime, Dawn's particular form of infectious confidence and the choice between focusing on the contest (which I did, because I grinded the shit out of contests in Ruby) or the date sim was a smart move, given the grievance about unrealistic love. 

Though I am a bit sad that the epilogue doesn't show anything of Cynthia after all the build up for her, especially given how funny Hilda and Rosa were (both with each other and with Dawn), I understand wanting to make it feel condensed. The time skips do feel a little jarring, but not distractingly so. Just kinda comes off as a "proof of concept" for what might come next. Though with them palling around in Unova, it does make me wonder if there's gonna be an Easter egg for this in the Roxie VN. Though maybe that's me just having a poisoned brain and thinking back to the secret epilogues in Kingdom Hearts, lol.

MC does come off as a creepy weirdo to me, but in a "oh Arceus someone is talking to me what do I do" sense. It makes the juxtaposition with Scyther funny. I can see why someone as extroverted as Dawn would end up "adopting" him, so to speak. Not sure how to feel about his inner thoughts basically just being a tame version of /dg/, but I appreciate wanting the affection levels to be mutual.

My only major problem with the VN, aside from some gripes with the art that I feel like fixes are already in the works, is just a reoccurring thought I had while playing. If Dawn ranked second in a contest so prestigious that even our dopey MC was aware of, why does nobody recognize her? 

Maybe this is brought up in another route. I've only done one route, and I will come back and add on to this after I've taken time to explore the game more.
